MCaresNJ Programs
MCaresNJ offers dynamic community outreach programs designed to improve public health outcomes, support personal development, and foster lasting empowerment—particularly for underserved and marginalized groups. These initiatives are built to provide comprehensive family support in NJ, complementing our clinical services while strengthening the communities we serve.
- Signature Initiatives
-
Our Signature Initiatives are long-term projects aligned with state health priorities and community needs. As a leading New Jersey family support center, we offer annual public awareness campaigns focused on mental health, HIV/STI prevention, and harm reduction.
Each campaign combines media outreach, live events, and community-based education to drive measurable change in health outcomes and policy awareness. These signature programs serve as ideal entry points for engagement by schools, clinics, and city agencies. - Community Outreach Projects
-
Outreach workers are trained in trauma-informed communication, motivational interviewing, and de-escalation—ensuring trust and accessibility for even the most marginalized populations. We host interactive conferences, summits, and workshops through our community outreach programs designed to build leadership skills, health literacy, and civic engagement among youth ages 13–29.
Sessions include identity development, advocacy training, resume writing, financial literacy, and storytelling for social change. These events are co-developed with youth leaders and peer mentors, making them particularly effective for court-involved or system-impacted youth. - Prevention Education Campaigns
-
We deliver targeted, evidence-based curricula that address substance use prevention, sexual health education, mental health awareness, and safe relationship development. Programs are available for youth, adults, and professionals and can be customized by request. Referring agencies regularly include schools, youth detention centers, CBOs, and transitional living programs.
